Why it is your religious duty to get vaccinated

Strange but true - The laws of evolution and natural selection work when applied to religions too. To understand this, let us consider two religions.

Religion A encourages its adherents to look at sex as nothing more than a means to procreate. As part of this belief, its followers are not allowed to use any form of contraception. It also explicitly forbids abortion of a pregnancy.

Religion B, on the other hand, has no such controls on sex. Its adherents can have sex for the sake of sex and since it is not seen as an act of procreation, the religion does not explicitly forbid contraception or abortion.

Looking three generations in, Religion A is flourishing and growing, while Religion B finds its numbers dwindling. On the back of its growing numbers, Religion A is able to commandeer more resources. What it is not given, it grabs. Religion B can do nothing to stop the juggernaut.

Going by this example, all religious leaders must encourage adherents of their religions to take the vaccine so that the flock can be protected. Failure to do so puts the religion at risk since the pandemic will ensure that its number dwindle.

Of course, the corollary is that if the vaccine by itself is dangerous, then taking the vaccine might cull the flock.

So I guess we will just have to depend on science and research to save us.
